“GO AWAY AND NEVER COME BACK!!”

Yabu was lost for words. The tears that fell to the ground. Yabu had never seen Chinen in such a terrified stage. Yabu had no clue what happened, he wanted to ask, but he knew Chinen is sensitive in some topics. Yabu swallowed his saliva, and nodded. He accepted the fact that Chinen doesn’t want him anymore so he left the scene. He left Chinen alone, crying.

It was 2 in the morning when Yabu visited Chinen’s house. To his horror, the love of his life was sitting at the corner of the sofa, in his oversized black off shoulder shirt and sweat pants, silently weeping away. Yabu was immediately chased out when he held Chinen by his shoulder.

Yabu walked down the empty road, with what happened previously playing repeatedly in his head. It was only until he found an old friend of his, Yamada, sitting at the bus stop he had to walk past. Yamada was in low spirits, which was not surprising as it was in the wee hours in the morning.

“Yamada..? What are you doing out at this hour?” Yabu asked as a concerned person. Yamada did not answer, but instead turned his head away. Yabu sensed something wrong and came closer to Yamada to check on him. To his surprise, Yamada suddenly stood up and rested his head on the crook of Yabu’s neck.

“STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!”

Yabu turned and saw his lover, panting from the run he just made, eyes puffed, face flushed. Chinen pulled Yabu away from Yamada and shouted,

“DON’T YOU DARE!”

Yabu was at complete lost. He had no idea what was happening. Until he took a glance at Yamada, who was smirking away. Yabu gulped. It was dark and late, he might be imagining things. Yabu closed his eyes and then realized everything was real. It was true. Yamada had fangs sticking out from his smirk.

“Stay out of our relationship dammit!” Chinen glared. Yamada gave his casual ‘so-what’ face and finally spoke, “Don’t be such a party pooper. I fell in love with you way long before I became a vampire. They say the rule to a vampire is to suck out the blood of the person you love. And I love you. So I’m bringing you to the other side of the world.”

Yabu’s heart cringed upon listening to Yamada’s words and let go of Chinen’s hands. Question was that, what will happen if Chinen continues being stubborn and refuses Yamada’s request. Upon hearing that, Yamada went back to smirking.

“It’s either him, or you.” Yamada pointed at Yabu. Yabu frowned and gripped Chinen’s hands.

“Chii, I love you. But it’s up to your decision now. I will miss you if you go with him, but I definitely won’t regret.” Yabu bent down and kissed Chinen, who did not replied to the kiss given. Yamada rolled his eyes at the sight of the couple and clicked his tongue, then tapped his shoes impatiently. When Yabu gave up, he gave Chinen a slight push to Yamada. Yamada pulled Chinen to a hug and slowly thrust his fangs into Chinen’s neck, then sucked the blood that was seeping out.

Yabu’s heart became empty as he continued watching his loved one being taken away to another world.
